AGM260/12 The Excelsior Power Range of Deep Cycle AGM Batteries are designed for those applications where a sealed battery is required, but at a very competitive price.    These batteries are of a Microporous Glass Fibre construction, (AGM), but are of a Deep Cycle type, unlike conventional AGM batteries.   They posses excellent deep cycling & recovery characteristics, and low self discharge rates & long life.  Being a sealed battery, the units may even be mounted sideways!   Also, they can be used in environments where no battery fumes are desired, as the batteries do not emit any gasses under correct charging conditions.   They are typically used in living areas in motor homes, boats, etc, owing to there  non gassing characteristics, or applications where a conventional battery may spill corrosive electrolyte.  They carry a 6 month warranty.
